    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Financial Data Analyst with expertise in accounting software systems and financial data analysis to join our team in Miami, Florida in our corporate office in Coral Gables for a successful and expanding property management team. In this role, you will apply your knowledge of financial processes and data tools to support key business initiatives and ensure accurate reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial system implementations and data-driven decision-making.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and support organizational goals.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize accounting software systems.

    • Develop and maintain advanced financial reports using tools like SQL and Power BI.

    • Perform data mining and trend analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.

    • Ensure accurate reconciliations and maintain compliance with company accounting standards.

    • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to align with strategic objectives.

    • Monitor capital management activities and provide recommendations for improvement.

    • Utilize tools such as Python and Oracle SQL to streamline financial analysis and reporting.

    • Conduct audits to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

    • Partner with stakeholders to align financial insights with business strategies.

    Requirements

    + Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in operational and financial workflows, and lead initiatives to streamline processes across teams.

    + Automation Projects: Lead automation projects and identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and scalability of financial reporting.

    + Data Collection & Analysis: Aggregate, clean, and analyze large data sets from multiple systems to support business decisions.

    + Financial Modeling: Develop models to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.

    + Ad Hoc Projects: Respond to one-off data and reporting requests from leadership and operational teams—be ready to dive into anything from cost optimization to customer behavior analysis.

    + Reporting & Dashboards: Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel, SQL, or BI tools to communicate insights effectively.

    + Business Insights: Translate data into actionable recommendations that help drive strategic initiatives and day-to-day decision-making.

    + Stakeholder Support: Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data and reporting that supports growth, operational efficiency, and resource allocation.

     

    What We’re Looking For

     

    Required Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields

    + 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role

    + Strong Excel and SQL skills; experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Metabase)

    + Proven ability to improve workflows, automate reporting, and build scalable tools

    + Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

    + Clear, concise communicator who can explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders

    + Analytical, curious, and solutions-oriented—loves digging into data to find answers

     

    Preferred Skills

     

    + Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis or automation

    + Familiarity with SaaS tools or business process platforms (e.g., Zapier, Airtable, Notion)

    + Strong storytelling skills when presenting data insights to leadership
