Description

We are looking for a skilled Attorney specializing in civil litigation to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting legal cases, conducting thorough investigations, and preparing for hearings. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work on diverse legal matters and collaborate with professionals in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct depositions and inspections to gather evidence and evaluate case merits.

• Prepare legal documents, including briefs and complaints, with attention to accuracy and detail.

• Represent clients in hearings and court proceedings, advocating effectively on their behalf.

• Manage case files using case management and document management software for efficient organization.

• Collaborate with team members to analyze legal issues and develop strategic approaches.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Licensed to practice law in Texas

• Proven experience in civil litigation with a strong understanding of legal procedures.

• Proficiency in case management and document management software.

• Skilled in conducting depositions and inspections as part of case preparation.

• Ability to draft and review legal documents such as complaints and briefs with precision.

• Familiarity with claim administration and complaint resolution processes.

• Excellent communication and advocacy skills for effective client representation.
