Description We are looking for an experienced and motivated Attorney to join our team in Alton, Illinois. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment, handling complex litigation matters and collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and a commitment to delivering outstanding results for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth legal research on complex and emerging issues related to class actions and mass actions, and prepare detailed memoranda.

• Take and defend depositions and sworn statements to support case strategies.

• Analyze and review documents to identify key information for prosecuting claims.

• Draft legal memoranda, affidavits, and other essential legal documents with precision and clarity.

• Work closely with team members to ensure thorough preparation of cases and effective collaboration.

• Utilize advanced legal technology tools to manage case files and optimize workflow efficiency.

• Prepare exhibits and trial materials to support litigation efforts.

• Stay updated on legal trends and developments relevant to the firm's practice areas.

• Travel as needed, approximately 20% of the time, to attend depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings. Requirements • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law in good standing.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in areas such as data privacy, product liability, toxic tort, antitrust, consumer protection, or class/mass action litigation.

• Proven experience with deposition preparation, trial preparation, and exhibit creation.

• Proficiency in legal research databases such as Westlaw and document review platforms like Relativity.

• Strong technical skills, including familiarity with case management software and other legal technology tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time to support case needs.
