We are looking for an experienced Division Controller to lead financial operations and provide strategic oversight for our organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting and financial management, paired with exceptional leadership skills. This role is based in The Woodlands, Texas, and offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving financial success.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement annual budgets while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead internal and external auditing processes to maintain financial transparency and accuracy.
• Provide strategic financial leadership to support business planning and decision-making.
• Ensure the effective use of accounting software systems to optimize financial processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance and recommend improvements.
• Monitor and control financial risks, ensuring the organization maintains fiscal responsibility.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and development.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and accounting regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
• Proven expertise in managing accounting functions, including general ledger and financial statement preparation.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, auditing, and financial analysis processes.
• Proficiency in using advanced accounting software systems.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
