Robert Half is currently seeking an Lean Portfolio Manager for a client located in Los Angels, CA (90067). he Lean Portfolio Manager (LPM) is responsible for establishing and maturing Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices within the organization. This role will introduce Lean budgeting, create portfolio reporting frameworks, and ensure data-driven decision-making using Jira and other Agile tools. The LPM partners with senior leadership, Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and stakeholders to align strategy with execution, improve portfolio flow, and drive transparency across investments.
Requirements
Job Scope:
+ At least 15+ years of experience in portfolio management, Agile transformation, or enterprise program management.
+ Develop & implement Agile training models & learning paths for teams & leadership.
+ Facilitate Agile training sessions for Program Managers, Scrum Masters, Kanban Coaches, & teams.
+ Create & enhance training guides, playbooks, & best practice documentation.
+ Establish a coaching framework that supports Agile role development & team autonomy.
Experience:
+ Utilize Jira and Confluence to support Agile processes, creating and managing content for Agile teams.
+ Build custom dashboards, reports, and filters in Jira to track team and portfolio performance.
+ Advocate for Lean-Agile principles, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methodologies.
+ SAFe SPC, SAFe Program Consultant, ICP-ACC, or similar Agile certification preferred.
+ Extensive hands-on experience coaching teams, leaders, and Agile roles (Scrum Masters, Kanban Coaches, Product Owners, and Program Managers).
Hands on Team Coaching & Agile Maturity Growth
+ Provide individual coaching for teams, helping them adopt Agile best practices.
+ Support and mentor Scrum Masters & Kanban Coaches in their roles.
+ Partner with Product Owners to improve backlog management, prioritization, & stakeholder engagement.
+ Conduct Agile health assessments & maturity evaluations, recommending improvements
