Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a junior or mid-level Defense Litigation Attorney to join our law firm client's team in Tempe, Arizona. 2+ years of litigation experience required and must be actively licensed in Arizona. Your responsibilities will revolve around handling civil litigation and depositions, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of cases, and maintaining client records.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute law enforcement defense litigation cases

• Conduct thorough research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations

• Represent clients in court and argue motions

• Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and agreements

• Conduct and handle civil litigation cases effectively

• Take and defend depositions

• Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive defense strategy

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

• Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and gather information

• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Applicant must hold a valid license to practice law in the state of Arizona.

• Minimum of two years of experience in the field of litigation.

• Proven expertise in civil litigation.

• Demonstrable experience in conducting depositions.

• Ability to manage a high volume of cases in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.

• Proficiency in using legal research software and other relevant computer applications.

• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of legal ethics.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
