Description

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant for our client in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a short-term contract to full time position, offering a unique opportunity to grow within the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will balance marketing responsibilities with administrative tasks, contributing to various projects that enhance brand visibility and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design marketing materials, including signage, menus, and promotional content.

• Manage social media platforms to engage audiences and boost brand awareness.

• Assist in creating and placing advertisements to support recruitment and promotional efforts.

• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all channels.

• Utilize CRM software to manage customer data and track marketing campaigns.

• Support event planning and execution to enhance guest experiences.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall business goals.

• Maintain proficiency in tools like Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Excel to streamline workflows.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and other graphic design tools.

• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.

• Experience with CRM systems for managing customer relationships.

• Excellent organizational and administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Ability to create and execute marketing campaigns that align with brand objectives.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• A proactive and outgoing personality with the ability to multitask effectively.

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but not required.
