    Functional Role: Senior Security Engineer

     

    Salary Range: $150,000-170,000 DOE

     

    Permanent Full Time

     

    Our client is in search of a Senior Security Engineer to become part of their team in the Manufacturing industry, located in Torrance, California. As a Cyber Security Engineer, your task will be to ensure the safety of their information systems by implementing and maintaining security measures. You will be expected to manage security systems, analyze security requirements, and recommend improvements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implementing and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information

    • Identifying and defining system security requirements

    • Configuring and troubleshooting security infrastructure devices

    • Developing technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks

    • Ensuring that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents

    • Writing comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement

    • Working with IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of security measures

    • Conducting both internal and external security audits

    • Managing network, intrusion detection and prevention systems

    • Analyzing security breaches to identify the root cause.

    Requirements

    MUST HAVE:

    + Microsoft Defender

    + Azure

    + SentinelOne

    + M365, Vulnerability Management Is nice to have

    + CISSP is nice to have

    + KQL (query language)

    + Playbook automation
