Description Position: Database Developer Location: 100% Remote (U.S. – Must work PST hours) Rate: $50–60/hour Start Date: ASAP Duration: 4 Months (permanent, 40 hrs/week) Interview: 1-hour panel with 5 team members

Role Overview: A leading healthcare organization is seeking a experienced Database Developer to support a large-scale data integration project. The focus is on building a custom Oracle-based relational database aligned with vendor-specific data standards. The role requires expertise in relational modeling, scripting, and automated extract workflows for healthcare data. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Design and develop 77 relational tables, including core entity and lookup/reference tables Define field-level constraints, data types, and relational keys Populate thousands of static reference values Automate weekly and monthly file extracts in a vendor-specified delimited format Create technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and file transfer workflows Ensure database design, structures, and extract logic meet external data format and submission requirements

Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of database development experience Strong background with Oracle databases, especially in custom or homegrown systems Proficiency in automated scripting and data extract scheduling Experience creating detailed technical documentation Healthcare data experience (claims, member, provider data, regulatory alignment)
