    We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Graphic Designer within our Creative Servicesteam to help support our business.     As a Graphic Designer you will have the opportunity to shape the organization’s visual identity by conceptualizing, designing, and producing impactful marketing materials across print, web, digital, and social platforms. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by ensuring high-quality execution on innovative concepts that will help strengthen the organization’s brand. The team you will be working with is collaborative, creative, and values bringing fresh ideas to life .

     

    So, what will you be doing as a Graphic Designer?

     

    + Collaborate with Marketing and partners to conceptualize, design, and produce layouts for print, web, email, digital, and social projects (internal/external).

    + Prepare visuals (illustrations, photos, text) and help maintain image resources.

    + Work with Senior Designers/Creative Manager to define project scope and develop creative concepts aligned with brand standards.

    + Collaborate on revisions based on feedback, presenting final layouts for approval.

    + Organize content, suggest creative improvements, and prepare final artwork or instructions for output/vendors.

    + Provide creative input and guidance during production, communicating specifications to Marketing Operations.

    + Generate original design solutions and adapt existing artwork for new uses.

    + Maintain creative team equipment/supplies and recommend upgrades.

    + Provide technical guidance and contribute innovative solutions to meet production needs.

    + Assist in digital asset management.

    + Research competitor visual approaches.

    + Uphold graphic and brand standards for consistency.

    + Review and correct all errors in final art files before release.

    + Pre-flight and prepare production-ready files with quality control.

    + Troubleshoot file issues with print vendors.

    + Archive all final project files.

    + Participate in bi-monthly creative reviews.

    + Provide print/digital support for various initiatives.

    To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

    + Create impactful graphic communications with layout and formatting.

    + Strong design sense (composition, color, hierarchy, layout) for digital graphic design.

    + Proven problem-solving skills to translate complex info into effective visuals.

    + Proficiency in Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite.

    + Support creative team leadership in planning and executing assignments.

    + Manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines and incorporating feedback.

    + Knowledge of UI/UX design fundamentals desired.

    + Portfolio showcasing conceptual design work and creative solutions.
