*Clinical Cardiologist (3-309-1229)-*The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting a general cardiologist with advanced training in Cardiac MRI and CT to build an advanced imaging program, teach, and provide clinical cardiology services in both the inpatient and outpatient settings at the Assistant Professor level on a clinical educator pathway. Expertise in echocardiography, including TEE and stress echo, including board certification in echocardiography from ACE would be highly beneficial.This position will be expected to provide clinical care to patients at the University of Maryland Medical Center. The expected faculty rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank, tenure status, and salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. The individual we seek will have fellowship training in cardiology with advanced training in Cardiac MRI and CT and will demonstrate potential for excellence in clinical care and teaching. The ideal candidate will be expected to participate in all aspects of the general cardiology programs at the University of Maryland Medical Center (downtown and midtown campuses) and at the other ambulatory sites.
