Join our team and become part of the group that's making amazing things happen on the ground and in the skies. Together, we'll proudly step back and say, “We did that."

In the role of Supplier Performance Manager, you'll play a pivotal part on our Supply Chain team.

The Supplier Performance Manager (SPM) is primarily responsible for protecting the company's operations through upstream supplier surveillance, risk mitigation planning, and corrective actions at supplier sites. The SPM oversees the operational performance of production suppliers, ensuring the quality and delivery of their products while managing risks through proactive supplier relationship management and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Supplier Performance Management:

Oversee the operational performance (Logistics & Quality) of assigned suppliers, ensuring effective governance of the supplier relationship (internal/external interface).

Organize performance reviews with suppliers, gather Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and integrate internal feedback (SQAs, Buyers, Supply Chain, Programs, etc.).

    Supplier Risk Surveillance and Management:

Contribute to the creation and execution of the Supplier Surveillance Plan, conducting assessments such as Rate/Readiness or Load & Capacity, maturity evaluations, risk analysis, and on-site checks of Business Continuity Plans (BCP).

Monitor and manage supplier risks, implementing corrective or preventive actions through both internal and external action plans to restore operational performance.

    Continuous Improvement and Action Plans:

Drive supplier development initiatives with key suppliers to enhance operational performance (logistics and quality).

Coordinate corrective action plans for performance issues, ensuring sustainable solutions are implemented to prevent future disruptions.

    Supplier Performance Evaluation and Reporting:

Consolidate performance indicators between Safran Nacelles and suppliers, sharing monthly scorecards with suppliers to track progress.

Perform annual supplier evaluations to prepare for the next surveillance plan.

    Supplier Maturity and Capability Development:

Track and improve supplier maturity by leading initiatives such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), QRQC, Theory of Constraints (TOC), and/or SMED projects.

Ensure suppliers achieve long-term performance goals and continuously improve their processes.

    Crisis Management:

Manage logistics crises, ensuring corrective action plans are in place to resolve urgent issues.

Serve as a key contact in crisis situations and quickly address problems to prevent production disruptions.

    Job Requirements

    Education:

A Master's degree (Bac+5) in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.

    Experience:

More than 5 years of operational experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Industrialization, or Quality.

General knowledge of manufacturing processes (especially for nacelle components) and industrial practices.

Experience in managing supplier performance in an industrial environment (aerospace, automotive, etc.) is highly desirable.

    Technical Skills:

Knowledge of Supply Chain and Industrial Management principles (MRP2, S&OP, MPS, Capacity Management, Scheduling, Lean Manufacturing, Theory of Constraints).

Basic understanding of Quality Management tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, etc.).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Pivot Tables, Power-BI).

Familiarity with ERP tools such as M3, SAP and AirSupply is a plus.

Knowledge of risk management processes, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and continuous improvement tools (Green Belt, Six Sigma, etc.).

    Soft Skills:

Strong leadership, autonomy, and communication skills.

Rigorous, well-organized, and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
