POSITION DETAILS

Candidates need to have 2+ years of Emergency Medicine provider experience, or have gone through dedicated postgraduate EM training

St. Lawrence Health is looking for full-time Emergency Medicine APPs to join our team of dedicated providers!

Canton-Potsdam Hospital ED:

+ 24/7 Physician coverage

+ APP shifts:

+ 10am - 10pm Rapid Assessment Zone (RAZ) - functions as a Provider in Triage Model

+ 8am - 5pm Main ED

+ 5pm - 2am Main ED

+ Level III Trauma Center

+ Primary Stroke Center

Massena Hospital ED:

+ 24/7 Physician coverage

+ APP shift:

+ 10am - 6pm Main ED

+ Critical Access Hospital

OFFERINGS

+ Compensation:

+ $100/hr or $208,000/year (Canton-Potsdam Hospital)

+ $105/hr or $218,400/year (Massena Hospital)

+ 200 hours per year of paid benefit time

+ APPs may float between EDs and work shifts at both locations, as per their preference

+ Signing Bonus - $5,000

+ Relocation - up to $7,500

+ Paid CME - $2,000 per contract year

+ Paid Professional Fees - reimbursed for NYS license and registration, DEA registration, mandatory board certification fees, ACLS, PALS, NRP and ATLS (as needed)

+ Paid malpractice insurance

EDUCATION:

BS: Physician Assistant (Required)

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
