Quality Lab Technician

Description:
+ Ensure that product manuals are complete, accurate, and distributed in a timely manner.
+ Respond in a timely manner to CM requests for specification and part number information and clarification.
+ Research and resolve CM and in-house quality documentation concerns and needs.
+ Conduct pH, viscosity, COA, specific gravity, packaging functional testing, and other quality tests on submitted cases of finished product from the CM’s and in-house manufacturing.
+ Keep an orderly and organized in-house QA laboratory.
+ Make sure all laboratory testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated as needed.
+ Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of laboratory supplies and communicate lab supply needs to the QA manager.
+ Initiate QA variance documentation as needed.
+ Create Excel data analysis spreadsheet reports based on laboratory testing.
+ Compile and organize data into presentational formats.
+ Maintain accurate laboratory test results records.
+ Work closely with the quality specialist in the processing of supplier related NCR’s.
+ Work closely with the QA manager and other quality technicians in the delineation of daily work responsibilities.
+ Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives.
+ Recommend process and quality improvement opportunities as they are identified.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry)
+ Wet Chemistry Experience
+ Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel
+ Ability to adapt to change
+ Ability to work independently

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
