Job Title: Software Verification EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Verification Engineer to provide oversight of verification progress of software development conducted by an offshore team. This role will support the lead Software Engineer by integrating and testing new software deliveries and authoring document deliverables. While strong coding skills are not required, the candidate must have knowledge of standard C code to support reviews and troubleshooting of software.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee verification progress of software development conducted by the offshore team.
+ Support the lead Software Engineer by performing tasks as needed to integrate and test new software deliveries.
+ Author document deliverables related to software verification.
+ Review and troubleshoot software using standard C code.
+ Ensure compliance with DO-178C, DAL A, or B guidelines.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of development experience against DO-178C, DAL A or B guidance.
+ 2+ years of experience with DOORS and requirements-based software design of high-reliability or safety-critical software (DAL B or A).
+ Knowledge of electrical hardware design and debugging.
+ Experience with design, engineering, and debugging software.
+ Familiarity with C coding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Ability to work under high-visibility and urgent deadlines.
+ Familiarity with Texas Instruments' Code Composer Studio.
+ Experience with Texas Instruments' SM320F28335.
+ Knowledge of I²C, SPI, and JTAG.
+ Familiarity with motor controls, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines (PMSMs), and Brushless DC machines (BLDCs).

You will be working on a team with 9 other engineers in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $69.00 - $76.00/hr.
