Traveling Quality Control Manager
Description:
Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality in construction projects? Join our dynamic team as a Travelling Quality Control Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in the comprehensive development, implementation, and management of Project Quality Control requirements. This position is crucial for the safe, high-quality, and timely delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Quality Control Planning: Develop and oversee the approval process for the Project Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP).
+ Resource Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure adequate quality control personnel and necessary equipment, including testing tools and site laboratories, are available for project execution.
+ Client Collaboration: Coordinate with Client Quality Assurance personnel to execute and inspect the works.
+ Third Party Management: Manage Third Party Testing Agencies, including coordinating testing activities, utilizing on-site personnel, and reviewing related reports and commercial documents.
+ Safety Compliance: Ensure that site staff and subcontractors adhere to current safety legislation and company procedures, promoting Health, Safety, and Welfare as core values.
+ Training and Briefing: Brief site staff and subcontractors on QCP and ITP requirements and ensure compliance, including the preparation of testing reports.
+ Material and Process Review: Review all material and work process submissions before client approval. Conduct inspections of off-site subcontractor and supplier facilities if necessary to meet project requirements.
+ Documentation: Prepare and review quality control documentation, such as Client QC Daily Reports, Monthly QC Reports, and Logs.
+ Three Phase Control: Implement the Three Phase Stage of Control for work activities: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up.
+ Specification Compliance: Understand Specification and Contract requirements to ensure work is executed to the correct standards.
+ Decision Making: Make key decisions independently while keeping the Project Manager and Upper Management Team informed and aligned with company procedures and Delegation of Authority (DLA).
+ Task Delegation: Delegate tasks appropriately and promote independence, decision-making, and accountability within the project team.
+ Communication: Communicate key issues to the Project Manager and Upper Management Team.
+ Meetings: Attend daily and weekly internal briefings and progress meetings.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
