Engineering Technician II
Job Description
The specialist will be assembling and adjusting mechanical/opto-mechanical systems, including high precision optical/mechanical components. Additionally, the specialist will collaborate with engineering to perform lower level engineering work on PCBs.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble and adjust mechanical and opto-mechanical systems.
+ Work with high precision optical and mechanical components.
+ Collaborate with engineering on lower level engineering tasks related to PCBs.
+ Utilize AutoCAD for drafting and design tasks.
+ Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
+ Work with electro-mechanical systems or optoelectronics.
+ Handle PCBs, cables, and harnesses.
+ Interpret and work from blueprints.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with AutoCAD, drafting, and design.
+ Knowledge of AS9100 standards.
+ Experience in electro-mechanics or optoelectronics.
+ Experience with PCBs, cables, and harnesses.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of experience with SMT and/or PCBA assembly equipment and processes.
+ 4+ years of experience with SMT equipment operation in a production setting.
+ J - STD/IPC or other soldering certs.
Work Environment
The specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with a low volume, high mix of telecom and military devices used in navy applications. The company is focused on meeting production goals by the end of the year, and there is an option for the employee to transition to a direct position.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $36.00/hr.
