Shaping the Business
+ Strategy: Develops, owns, and executes comprehensive, multi-year category sourcing strategies that drive both bottom-line and top-line growth. Incorporates data-driven insights, stakeholder needs, and business objectives to shape strategic thinking. Ensures strategies address corporate social responsibility, including supplier diversity, ethical sourcing, and sustainability. Possesses experience managing diverse categories, industries, stakeholders, and suppliers.
+ Portfolio Management: Effectively manages project portfolios and deadlines, independently solving problems and making decisions to guarantee successful execution. Provides oversight, guidance, and ensures completion of project plans, including post-mortem documentation as needed.
+ Business Case Development: Creates compelling business cases to support sourcing strategies and initiatives. Crafts detailed proposals aligned with strategic, commercial, financial, and organizational goals, securing stakeholder alignment and commitment.
Driving Value
+ Value Stewardship: Builds and executes a consistent value pipeline through stakeholder and supplier collaboration. Leverages category expertise, supplier spend insights, and market trends to identify and track cost savings. Analyzes supplier proposals using financial and non-financial criteria to recommend awards and implement strategies that deliver value, including cost savings, supplier diversity, ethical sourcing, and innovation.
+ Supplier Management & Collaboration: Cultivates strategic partnerships with suppliers, fostering trust and transparency to maximize mutual value and reduce risk. Leads key supplier business reviews, drives growth and improvement, executes corrective actions when necessary, and enhances suppliers’ understanding of business operations.
+ Supplier-Enabled Innovation: Identifies and leverages supplier capabilities to meet internal business needs, influencing stakeholders to proactively engage suppliers on innovative solutions.
Protecting Supply & Reducing Risk
+ Contracting: Demonstrates expertise in owning and leading contracting processes, including preplanning, developing term sheets, and negotiating agreements. Maintains high standards by avoiding exception-based contracting and ensuring compliance with legal and business requirements.
+ Risk Management: Protects the organization by identifying, assessing, and mitigating supplier and supply chain risks, including ethical sourcing, capacity, and financial risks. Balances risk and certainty to safeguard operations and enhance resilience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
