Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
The Electrician is responsible for preventative maintenance, layout, installation, and repair of all electrical equipment on their fastener equipment, including Formax machines, Roller department, header department, heat treat machines, power & lighting systems. The role involves performing adjustments, repairs, or replacements on motors, controls, and other electrical equipment, as well as repairing pneumatics, lubrication, and hydraulics circuits. Additionally, the Electrician will need to interpret and read hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication schematics.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
+ Layout, install, and repair electrical systems on fastener equipment.
+ Adjust, repair, or replace motors, controls, and other electrical equipment.
+ Repair pneumatics, lubrication, and hydraulics circuits.
+ Interpret and read hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication schematics.
+ Utilize the web-based program 'Bigfoot' to receive reports from machine operators about machine status and preventative maintenance.
Essential Skills
+ 8 years of recent experience as a maintenance electrician in an industrial setting or a journeyman's card.
+ Ability to troubleshoot PLCs.
+ Experience with proxy switches.
+ Strong electrical experience with 480V systems.
+ Proficient in troubleshooting and reading schematics.
+ Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the auto industry.
+ Cold header or fastener experience.
+ Possession of a journeyman card.

Work Environment
The position is based in a cold heading facility. The dress code requires steel-toed boots and safety glasses. The role is for the 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday, with an additional 6-hour shift on Saturdays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $37.40/hr.
