Job Title: Lead CNC Machinist

Job Description

Responsible for handling tasks such as editing programs, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. They are responsible for designing fixtures, recommending tooling, and ensuring optimal performance. Additionally, they play a **leadership** role by mentoring machinists, collaborating with the production manager, and maintaining quality standards. The role requires experience with both Mills and Lathes.

Responsibilities

+ Edit programs, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components

+ Design fixtures and recommend tooling to ensure optimal performance

+ Mentor machinists and provide guidance on best practices

+ Collaborate with the production manager to meet production goals

+ Maintain and ensure adherence to quality standards

Essential Skills

+ Experience with CNC Mills and Lathes

+ Proficiency in CNC machining and manual machining

+ Ability to supervise and mentor other machinists

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Manual Machining experience is a huge plus

+ Tooling experience is nice but not required

+ CNC experience preferred

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, ensuring comfortable working conditions. The shift hours are from 4:30 pm to 3:30 am, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
