    Job Title: Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Machine Operator to efficiently run machine #1 in the Raymond cell. The ideal candidate will have CNC machine experience and the ability to manipulate offsets, as well as proficiency in using calipers to measure machined parts.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate CNC machines and manipulate offsets.

    + Use calipers to measure machined parts accurately.

    + Interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.

    + Set up and sequence operations based on specifications.

    + Ensure quality control through inspection reports.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 1+ years of experience in CNC machine operation.

    + Experience in manufacturing or production environments.

    + Proficiency in using calipers for measuring.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1-3 years of machining experience.

    + Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge.

    + Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

    + Team player with strong collaboration skills.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment and related noise levels. The role primarily involves standing for up to six hours, with some duties requiring short periods of sitting. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs and wear steel-toed or composite-toed footwear.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Binghamton, New York.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
