**Position** :Warehouse Supervisor

**Location:** Pompano Beach, FL

**Shift:** Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm (with most days from 7 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 5 pm) and every other Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of warehouse staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and training.

+ Team Building: Hire, train, and evaluate warehouse associates to build a strong, cohesive team.

+ Motivation: Motivate and guide your team to achieve operational excellence.

+ Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels effectively.

+ Storage and Handling: Ensure proper storage, handling, and movement of goods.

+ Cycle Counts: Conduct cycle counts and manage overstock to optimize inventory.

+ Supply Management: Order supplies and goods as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

+ Shipping Procedures: Oversee receiving, storing, and dispatching procedures for shipments.

+ Product Handling: Ensure proper transport, packaging, and placement of products.

+ Maintenance: Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is serviced as needed.

+ Efficiency: Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.

Essential Skills:

+ Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team leadership.

+ Expertise in shipping and receiving processes.

+ 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.

+ Ability to coordinate logistics and warehouse management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of warehouse lead or managerial experience.

+ Proficiency with forklifts and cherry pickers.

+ Experience in shipping and receiving.

+ Proven ability to manage a team of 3 or more in a warehouse environment.

+ HVAC experience is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment:

+ You will work in an open-air warehouse with a small, close-knit team.

+ Our branch environment includes a front counter and a warehouse in the back.

+ Working hours are from 7 am to 5 pm, with most days from 7 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

+ Every other Saturday, you will need to be available from 8 am to 12 pm, providing opportunities for overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $22.84/hr.
