    The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs SAP Commerce developer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

     

    + Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable e-commerce solutions using Java and SAP Commerce (Hybris).

    + Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

    + Implementing new features and enhancements, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.

    + Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

    + Conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

    + Mentoring and guiding junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

    + Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and proactively suggesting improvements to existing systems and processes.

    + Participating in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

    Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires ( at a minimum ) the following qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    + 5+ years' experience with Java development.

    + Proven experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) development and customization.

    + Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

    + Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.

    Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

    + Experience with AWS cloud platform

    + Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g. React.js, Node.js)

    + Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.

    + Certification in SAP Commerce

    + Strong understanding of Spring framework

    Work location:

    + Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work on site or hybrid)

     

    Travel: May include up to 5% international travel

     

    Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

     

    Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
