Job Title: Filling Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Filling Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm). The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring product quality, assembling and labeling packages, filling containers with liquids, and transporting packed products to the shipping department. Additionally, maintaining an organized and clean workspace is essential. The role requires collaboration with team members to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
+ Inspect and ensure the quality of products.
+ Assemble, label, and seal packages.
+ Fill liquids from tanks into containers.
+ Transport packed products to the shipping department.
+ Keep track of inventory levels.
+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
+ Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with packing, cleanroom environments, filling machines, labeling, filling, batching, and sealing.
+ Ability to work around chemicals and food-grade materials in compliance with GMP.
+ Proficiency in using scales, pumps, valves, and air mixers.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
+ Attention to detail for labeling and packing logs.
+ Comfortable wearing a respirator.
+ Experience in GMP, food manufacturing, sterilization, and sterile processing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ GMP certification
+ Experience in cleanroom and food manufacturing environments

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTHBROOK, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
