Job Title: Team Lead Operator
Job Description
The Team Lead Operator will be responsible for leading a team of 7-10 operators and ensuring the efficient operation of press machines in our printing facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in press machine operation, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage a team of 7-10 operators, providing guidance, training, and support.
+ Operate and oversee the operation of press machines, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
+ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press machines to minimize downtime.
+ Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
+ Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
+ Communicate effectively with team members and management to address any issues or concerns.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in operating press machines in the printing industry.
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
+ Technical skills in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
+ Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with blueprint reading.
+ Knowledge of production processes.
+ Experience with press brake and flexography.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to set up machines.

Work Environment
Working in a climate-controlled printing environment. This role is on the night shift, Monday to Thursday, from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paola, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
