Job Description
Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment for a company that produces textile materials. You will handle electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic responsibilities, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently. They have lots of different machines and equipment, from boilers, piping, and instrumentation, to chemical mixers and reactors, to tufting and extrusion machines. So they are looking for someone with good, well-rounded mechanical and electrical experience and the willingness to work on several different kinds of equipment. _You do not have to be a master industrial mechanic or electrician. Training will be provided. But they do need good base knowledge and experience._
_If you have good education but not much experience or some decent experience but no formal education, this would be a good opportunity for you. If you can stay late after 3rd shift to train some with the 1st shift crew, you will be able to learn a lot, build your skills, and advance._
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and repair relays, variable frequency drives, electrical cabinets, 3-phase motors, switches, and wiring (training provided, but must have decent knowledge and experience coming in).
+ Maintain and repair pneumatic lines, hydraulic lines, part replacement, boilers, extruders, tufters, rotary presses, and mixers.
+ Handle hydraulic pumps, waterlines, boilers, wastewater systems, and various types of valves.
+ Adhere to safety procedures, including lock-out tag-out protocols.
+ Troubleshoot PLCs at machines to locate faults, but also learning how to adjust ladder logic as needed.
+ Work with minimal supervision on shift.
Essential Skills
Knowledge and/or experience with:
+ Troubleshooting relays, variable frequency drives, electrical cabinets, and 3-phase motors up to 480V.
+ Reading blueprints and schematics and using multimeters.
+ Lockout tagout procedures.
+ Wiring industrial equipment.
+ Mechanical troubleshooting for industrial equipment, including part repair and replacement.
+ Basic PLC troubleshooting at machines to locate faults and checking PLC inputs and outputs with a multimeter.
+ Some familiarity with ladder logic.
+ Hydraulic systems, piping, pumps, and valves.
Preferred Skills
+ Reading and adjusting ladder logic for PLCs.
+ Electrical cabinet wiring and maintenance.
+ Technical Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics, or equivalent training.

Work Environment
Our facility is a fabric manufacturing environment with some areas that can get hot. It is a fairly clean, non-climate-controlled environment. The maintenance team consists of 8 members spread across 3 shifts, with one maintenance manager and no shift supervisors. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, and a work shirt. The standard shift is from 7am-3pm for training and 11pm-7am for regular shifts, with potential overtime of 5-10 hours weekly and occasional weekend shifts.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, TN.
**Starting Pay:** $24.34-$26.20/hr, depending on experience
**Shift:** 3rd
**Schedule:** Sunday night - Thursday night; OT on Fridays and Saturdays as needed, but not too often
**Weekly hours:** probably 45-50

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.20/hr.
