Job Title: Mill Machinist - 2nd Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mill Machinist to join our team on the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for milling details from plate or flat stock according to blueprints to exact dimensions and milling details of various shapes. This role involves operating Haas 3 axis CNC Mills and working with a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, brass, steel, and hardened steel.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret blueprints.
+ Read and use measuring tools.
+ Sharpen cutting tools.
+ Perform own set-ups.
+ Download and alter programs as necessary.
+ Machine material to print.
+ Use overhead crane.
Essential Skills
+ 3 years of 3 axis mill operating experience.
+ Ability to read digital micrometer and caliper.
+ Experience with editing Haas/Fanuc controls.
+ Familiarity with G&M code editing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Programming experience.
+ Blueprint reading.

Work Environment
Our clean shop, built in 2018, is equipped with new equipment and provides a comfortable work environment. The facility includes multiple cafes and a workout room for employees. The shift hours start between 5:30am to 7am for 1st shift and 2pm to 8pm for 2nd shift, with the possibility of working Saturdays during busy periods.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
