Seeking a skilled extrusion operator to operated extrusion machines.
Perform set ups and change overs
Perform in-process quality checks on products
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION – CORE:
• To support the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.
• While performing any procedure, all associates and contract personnel must observe applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and guidelines. The use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
• Attend and participate in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position.
• Adhere to appropriate company operating procedures, benefit rules, employment policies and safety policies.
• Frequent contact with Associates outside of the department.
• Occasional contact with Management outside of the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION – PRODUCTION:
• Ensures production is in accordance with proper procedures and methods.
• Sees that certain controls, such as thickness, length, and width checks are accomplished in accordance with established procedure.
• Regularly inspects the quality of the work produced.
• Processes daily paperwork.
• Assists on special projects to develop new processes, equipment, and/or product.
• Responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.
• Performs packaging and shipping function from warehouse 80.
• Alerts supervisor of needs and problems.
• Performs other duties as required by Management.

Seeking a candidate with manufacturing experience who understands manufacturing processes

• Preferred - High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Required – Ability to use a calculator and tape measure.
Required – 3 years experience as a Level 2 Technician

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
