Job Title: Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to run machine #1 in the Raymond cell. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC machine operation, including manipulating offsets on the machine, and using calipers for measuring machined parts.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and run machine #1 in the Raymond cell.
+ Manipulate offsets on the CNC machine.
+ Measure machined parts using calipers.
+ Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and other specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of work pieces, setup requirements, and sequence of operations.
+ Produce parts using lathe and mill machines.
+ Complete inspection reports.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ years' experience in CNC machine operation.
+ 1+ years' experience in manufacturing or production.
+ Experience with calipers for measuring parts.
+ Proficient in reading blueprints, sketches, drawings, and manuals.
+ Experience with lathe and mill machining.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least 1-3 years of machining experience.
+ Ability to learn quickly and retain and apply knowledge.
+ Strong analysis and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
+ Team player with the ability to work well with others.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. Primarily work in a standing position for up to six (6) plus hours per day, with some duties requiring sitting for short periods. Must be capable of lifting 0-50lbs in the proper ergonomic position and wear steel-toed or composite-toed footwear.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Binghamton, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
