CNC Machinist | Direct Hire

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate various CNC machines in a job shop environment. This role involves working with large CNC machines, including both mill and lathe machines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating CNC machinery, making tooling changes, and performing program edits using G&M codes. You will also be expected to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate various CNC machines, including mill and lathe machines.

+ Perform tooling changes and machine setups every shift.

+ Read blueprints and utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

+ Maintain tolerances within +/- 0.001.

+ Work with G&M codes and edit programs at the machine using MasterCAM and Solidworks.

+ Operate manual machines and grinders as needed.

+ Work with materials including low carbon and alloy tool steels.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $79560.00/yr.

• Medical, dental, vision benefits start day one.

• 20 weeks of paid sick time over 24 months. This is 100% pay for time missed such as a sick day or a leave of absence.

• Vacation is based on industry experience.

• 401k match starts at day 90 but you can start to contribute day one. Fidelity is the plan sponsor.

This is a fully onsite position in Tiffin,OH.
