Job Title: 2nd Shift - Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Filler Operator, you will be trained to independently operate and troubleshoot filler machines and other related equipment on an aerosol production line. You will be responsible for ensuring that production lines have raw materials for operation, managing elements of changeovers, operating production equipment, and related duties. You will maintain production records, ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are being followed, and comply with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements. This position requires high attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently throughout the day.
Responsibilities
+ Perform line setup, startup, operations, line clearance, and changeovers
+ Make necessary equipment adjustments
+ Conduct machine setups in accordance with applicable procedures and setup sheets
+ Accurately complete and maintain production and quality records
+ Conduct quality checks including weights, crimp, and depth
+ Complete quality paperwork throughout the shift
+ Report problems to the Supervisor and/or Line Operator
+ Set up, perform changeovers, troubleshoot, and ensure the lines are moving on labeling, packaging, cappers, tippers, and specialized automated equipment
+ Communicate with line leads, operators, and upper management, acting as a liaison between Operators, Supervisors, Techs, and Quality
Essential Skills

+ 5 years of experience as a Machine Operator
+ Mechanical skills
+ Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
+ Repair and preventive maintenance

+ Strong communication skills
+ At least 1 year of experience in quality control

Work Environment
This is a 2nd shift position with hours from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM (Monday to Thursday) and Fridays from 3:30 PM to midnight. Every other Saturday is voluntary, with the option to work more hours if desired. The facility is well-lit, clean, automated, and climate-controlled.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
