Job Title: Punch Press Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator to join our sheet metal production team. You will be responsible for operating punch press machines ranging from 32 to 200 tons, focusing on long-run, repetitive production on smaller ton machines that produce a high volume of parts. Your role will include inspecting parts to ensure they meet tolerance and quality standards. Additionally, you will be operating a forklift and/or pallet jack to manage materials for the machines.
Responsibilities
+ Operate punch press machines ranging from 32 to 200 tons.
+ Perform long-run, repetitive production on smaller ton machines.
+ Inspect parts to ensure they meet tolerance and quality standards.
+ Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to manage materials for the machines.
+ Work as part of the sheet metal production team.
Essential Skills
+ 1 year of manufacturing machine operation experience.
+ Mechanically inclined with good mathematical skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Punch Press and Brake Press experience.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
