    Job Title: Packaging Operator - 3rd Shift

    Job Description

    Join a team dedicated to producing high-quality sweet potato chips, free from the top 9 most common allergens. As a Packaging Technician, you will oversee operations of various machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation while adhering to our high standards. You will set up and operate high-speed packaging machines and perform minor troubleshooting to maintain seamless production.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and operate specific machinery in the production line.

    + Set up and operate high-speed packaging machines.

    + Perform minor troubleshooting to resolve machine stoppages or jams.

    + Follow all safety, sanitation, and production procedures.

    + Ensure accurate record-keeping and quality control.

    + Communicate effectively with team members and management.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of machine operating experience, preferably in a GMP environment.

    + Experience with packaging machine operating and high-speed manufacturing.

    + Ability to change over, adjust feeds and speeds, and set up machines.

    + Basic troubleshooting skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with filling machines and production processes.

    + Good communication and teamwork skills.

    Work Environment

     

    Work the 3rd shift from 10 pm to 6:30 am, Sunday through Thursday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. Enjoy a clean, temperature-controlled facility that does not require refrigeration. Embrace the aroma of French fries while adhering to GMP requirements, including wearing a hair net, beard net, smocks, hard hat, and steel-toed shoes.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muskego, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.50/hr.
