DIRECT HIRE: BINDERY/KITTING SPECIALISTS NEEDED!!!

Responsibilities

+ Read work orders to determine instructions and specifications for bindery work.

+ Examine stitched, collated, bound, or unbound product samples for defects such as imperfect bindings, ink spots, torn pages, loose pages, or loose or uncut threads.

+ Perform hand bindery of products including kitting and collating.

+ Stitch or glue endpapers, bindings, backings, or signatures using sewing machines, glue machines, or glue and brushes.

+ Inspect products and decide whether to accept or reject them to maintain quality standards.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanically inclined

+ Experience with printing presses

+ Machine operation

+ Bindery and hand bindery skills

+ Kitting

+ 1+ years of experience in printing or bindery work

+ Ability to read and write English

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.
