• Machine And Forklift Operator

    Machine/Forklift Operator - 2nd and 3rd Shift

    Responsibilities

    + Move materials using a forklift or overhead crane

    + Build custom pallets for packaging and shipping

    + Load and unload trucks at receiving docks

    + Remove steel from racks and place on machines

    + Operate machines for cutting materials

    + Ensure materials are properly packaged for shipment

    + Work in various facility areas including laser cutting, water jet cutting, and grinding

    Essential Skills

    + Previous forklift operation experience

    + Experience with overhead crane usage

    + Manufacturing experience preferred

    + Ability to use a tape measure down to 1/16th

    + Capable of lifting and moving 75 lbs consistently

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Steel industry experience

    + Experience with water jet or laser operators

    + Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
