Job Title: Maintenance Technician Lead

Shift: 2rd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm M-F (OT based off demands)

Pay: $36.00-40.00 per hour

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Lead for the 2nd shift who will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of food machinery. You will work on a variety of equipment including conveyors, ovens, heaters, chillers, baggers, fillers, coolers, and packaging machinery. This role involves 80% mechanical and 20% electrical work and includes PLC troubleshooting. You will also be involved in the setup and modification of machinery.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative maintenance on food machinery.

+ Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, ovens, heaters, chillers, baggers, fillers, coolers, and packaging machinery.

+ Carry out 80% mechanical and 20% electrical work.

+ Troubleshoot PLCs.

+ Set up and modify machinery.

Work Environment

+ This role is for the 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm with training provided on the 1st shift for around two weeks before moving to the 2nd shift.

+ The facility is a clean, dry food manufacturing plant specializing in popcorn production.

+ Employees must wear hair nets and smocks at all times.

+ Expect an average of 5-10 hours of overtime during the week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00/hr.
