    Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

    Job Description

    We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming products, validating product cuts, and ensuring all production meets our high-quality standards. This role requires experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in quality assurance and visual inspection.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect incoming products for quality assurance.

    + Work with machine operators to validate product cuts are accurate.

    + Complete visual inspections of products.

    + Utilize gauges and micrometers for precise measurements.

    + Gather and review prints.

    + Calibrate measurement equipment.

    + Partner with the production and quality team to ensure standards are met.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in quality assurance.

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Proficiency in using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM.

    + Ability to perform visual inspections.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in steel manufacturing.

    + CMM experience.

    Our company manufactures hose connections and attachments for first responders, as well as monitors for fire trucks to remove carcinogenics from the air. We are a subsidiary of a large private capital management company and have 80 employees in the machine operating department.     Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valparaiso, Indiana.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
