Flexographic Press Operator

Pay Rate - $20 - $28/hr.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced narrow web Flexographic press operator. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in the printing industry, specifically with running flexographic press machines or narrow web flexographic experience. We are open to training a maintenance candidate with experience in performing preventive maintenance and repairs on flexographic or press machines, provided they are willing to operate the machines.

Responsibilities

+ Operate narrow web Flexographic press machines

+ Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on press machines

+ Ensure production quality meets company standards

+ Organize and manage workflow efficiently

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment

+ Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience as a press operator in the printing industry

+ Experience with flexographic press machines or narrow web flexographic experience

+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance on press machines

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Dependability and a positive attitude

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with blueprint reading

+ Flexo Narrow Web experience

+ Production and pressmen experience

Work Environment

You will be working in a non-climate-controlled printing facility that produces labels for clients in the oil industry or hazardous warning labels. The shift is Monday through Thursday from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am with potential overtime on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paola, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
