Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Staff Accountant is a key member of the Accounting and Finance team and will be responsible for various day-to-day accounting activities while also participating in projects that help drive the growth of the organization.

+ Preparation of journal entries

+ Account analysis and reconciliation

+ Participate in physical inventories

+ Perform SOX controls and maintain thorough and accurate documentation as needed

+ Manage certain balance sheet accounts, such as Warranty Accrual and Fixed Assets

+ Assist Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Invoicing when necessary

+ Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement

+ Manage projects and other opportunities as they arise

+ Work collaboratively within the team and across departments

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other business-related field

+ 1-3 years of public accounting or related industry experience preferred

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required

+ Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

+ Ability to work independently and achieve desired results in a timely manner is required

+ Must work well in a fast-paced environment

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including excellent Excel skills
