PURPOSE:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IBM B2B Integrator (Sterling Integrator), Sterling File Gateway (SFG), and IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and support of B2B integration environments, ensuring high availability and performance for critical business processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Administer and support IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling File Gateway environments.
Install, configure, and maintain ITX for mapping and data transformation solutions.
Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide root cause analysis.
Develop and maintain business process models, trading partner configurations, and communication protocols (SFTP, AS2, HTTP/S).
Perform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning of B2B and ITX systems.
Work with development and support teams to implement and deploy integration solutions.
Maintain system documentation, configurations, and SOPs.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 8 years proven success overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems and applications.
Licenses/Certifications Preferred:
ITIL Foundations v3 within 180 Days.
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and SFG administration.
Hands-on experience with IBM ITX (WTX) including map development and deployment.
Proficiency in configuring communication protocols (FTP, SFTP, AS2, HTTPS, etc.).
Strong experience in Business Process Modeling and troubleshooting in Sterling.
Good understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and data formats (XML, CSV, Flat Files).
Experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting (Shell, Perl, etc.).
Familiarity with SSL certificate management and security practices.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Experience in Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP) and Sterling Control Center (SCC).
Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure) for integration workloads.
ITIL or relevant certification in system administration or integration platforms.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge of programming languages and web-based technologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to collaborate to solve technical problems across teams.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
Salary Range: $109,368 - $217,217
