    Description

    IT Architecture Design and Management

     

    + Design and manage comprehensive IT architecture solutions across manufacturing plants, including IT-OT systems, infrastructure, security, shopfloor connectivity, and enterprise integration.

    + Align manufacturing IT architecture with the overall organizational IT strategy in collaboration with the Enterprise Architect.

    + Develop and maintain documentation for current and future state architecture.

     

    Innovation and Digital Transformation

     

    + Lead digital manufacturing initiatives focusing on IIoT, Industry 4.0, and AI/ML architecture and solutions.

    + Lead proof of concepts for technology evaluation and vendor selection.

    + Work directly with senior executives and SMEs to translate business requirements into architectural solutions.

    + Governance and Stakeholder Coordination

    + Coordinate cross-domain manufacturing IT initiatives and resolve inter-project architectural challenges.

    + Drive Manufacturing IT governance with key stakeholders.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred

    • 7+ year as Manufacturing IT Architect with 10+ years manufacturing systems experience.

    • 5+ years implementing SCADA & PLC platforms.

    Skills And Abilities

    • Proven experience with IT-OT Integration, OT-Cybersecurity, and IIoT implementations.

    • Experience integrating MES & ERP systems.

     

    Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).

     

    • Experience working with C-level executives and presenting business cases.

    • Expertise in application modernization and digital transformation for manufacturing.

    • Working knowledge of EA tools (System Architect, Troux, etc.).

    • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and virtualization.

    • Strong understanding of manufacturing business domains, standards, and regulations.

    • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

     

    Ability to drive consensus in architecture decisions and thrive in fast-paced environments.

    The pay range for this position is $145000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
