Classification Minimum Requirements:

+ This position is open to students with federal work study and available to work on the main campus in Gainesville.

+ Students must maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA and be enrolled for at least six credit hours a semester.

+ Must be able to commit to 10-20 hours per week to this position.

Job Description:

CARE Student Assistants deliver support to fellow students in distress. Primary duties include:

+ Providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and family members

+ Scheduling meetings for students and families with CARE staff members

+ Collecting and entering pertinent information into student of concern reports or referrals

+ Supporting the processing of medical petitions

+ Assisting with various special projects and administrative tasks

Expected Salary:

$13.00/hr.

Required Qualifications:

+ Provide documentation of Federal Work Study

+ Pay rate is $13.00/hour, then $14.00 starting Sept. 30, 2025

+ Applicants must be available to work between 5-20 hours/week

+ Must maintain minimum GPA of 2.5

+ Personable with great verbal and written communication

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently, interact professionally

+ Willingness to work in a team environment

+ Effective writing and organizational skills

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
