Position Overview

Lead crew of up to 4 Irrigation Technicians in the installation of residential and commercial irrigation systems. Maintain the irrigation system and grounds of assigned area by performing the following duties:

Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

+ Cultivate your green career with us!

+ Enhance the appearance and value of properties through installation and maintenance of all types of irrigation equipment in residential and commercial landscapes.

+ Troubleshoot and repair lines and sprinkler heads

+ Complete set-up for digital and analog timers

+ Maintain open communication with management and clients to provide feedback on irrigation needs

+ Drive, use, maintain and properly operate irrigation equipment

+ Including but not limited to, Irrigation Pipe Puller/Trencher, Skid Steers, and hand tools

+ Supervise employees that need training and assistance in the area of irrigation

+ Complete necessary paperwork including time sheets, work orders, change orders and materials used or needed for each job.

Qualifications

What We’re Seeking:

+ Love of the outdoors

+ Preferred: 2 years' experience in the irrigation field.

+ Requirement: Knowledge of reading and following a blueprint

+ Preferred: Experience in irrigation installation and maintenance

+ Preferred: Knowledgeable on various irrigation controllers

+ Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books upon hire

+ Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire

+ Ability to diagnose and make repairs to various types of Irrigation Systems (commercial and residential)

+ Required: Valid Driver's License, CDL not required, but is a plus

+ Preferred: Previous leadership Skill and Experience

+ Ability to maintain a safe work environment
