• Application Consultant Site Reliability

    CTG (Phoenix, AZ)


    CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant Site Reliability opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

     

    **Location:** Phoenix, AZ, candidates should be local, face to face interview required

    **Duration:** 7 months

    **Pay** : Up to $53/hr

     

    W2 only

    Duties:

    + Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance.

    + Automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools and scripting.

    + Monitor and troubleshoot complex system issues across distributed environments.

    + Ensure system security and compliance standards are met.

    + Analyze system metrics and logs using monitoring tools to drive proactive improvements.

    + Support containerized environments and maintain Kubernetes clusters.

    + Document system procedures and incident resolution strategies.

    Skills:

    + Version control tools: Git (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN)

    + CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Ansible

    + Operating systems: Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)

    + Monitoring & observability: Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana

    + Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes

    + Strong scripting skills: Bash, Python

    + Deep understanding of networking concepts and security best practices

    Experience:

    + Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering or System Administration roles.

    + Hands-on experience managing containerized applications in production.

    + Demonstrated ability to automate repetitive tasks and streamline deployments.

    + Experience with cloud-based and hybrid CI/CD environments.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
