• Network Architect and Team Lead

    ManTech (South Burlington, VT)


    ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Network Architect and Team Lead** to join our team in **Burlington, VT or Camp Springs, MD** .

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Provide direction, guidance, and oversight for Tier 1 support services that include Monitoring; Analysis; Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving; Triage and Escalation to other support entities as needed; Tracking; Reporting; and Closing service requests

    + Manage technical services and support at the Tier I level, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and other network devices and tools; and support for remote access platforms such as VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix

    + Inform customers of their incident’s status at agreed intervals and continuously update incidents as needed

    + Notify stakeholders of high impact/priority failures using the appropriate escalation procedures

    + Provide senior level technical direction and engineering knowledge for all Tier I support activities

    + Lead, manage and mentor all Tier I staff. Provide, maintain, and continuously improve Tier 1 processes and SOPs

    + Support the development of high-quality deliverables, including but not limited team daily status reports, incident investigation and case analysis, incident assessment and response, SOPs, and more

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Active CCIE Certification obtained within the past 5 years.

    + DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification

    + A bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study

    + A minimum of (5) five years of IT technical experience in WAN routing and switching in a large, geographically dispersed enterprise environment

    + A minimum of (5) five years of experience managing a geographically diverse team (40+) of multifunctional NOC or SOC operations staff in a 24x7x365 environment

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + AWS or Azure certifications

    + ITIL v4 certification

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Must be a U.S. citizen with the eligibility to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability

    Physical Requirements:

    + Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

    + Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

    + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

    + The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

    + The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
