• Television Station New Business Developer

    Nexstar Media Group (Portsmouth, VA)


    WAVY TV-10, the NBC Television Affiliate, WVBT FOX43, the FOX Television Affiliate and EVBT, the CW Affiliate in the Norfolk, VA, market seek an energetic, creative, result-driven, marketing professional. This New Business Developer will be trained to identify and develop new accounts for television and digital advertising.

     

    Skills learned and developed with our media group include, but are not limited to, identification of television and digital advertising prospects, marketing solutions and campaign development, client relationship building, proposal preparation and presentation to a diverse customer base.

     

    The position requires excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated people person who is confident in their ability to build trust and deliver customized solutions. Prior sales or customer service experience is required.

     

    The candidate should be driven and have the motivation to hit the ground running.
