Substitute Teachers Per Diem:

DESCRIPTION: A substitute for instructional staff. Reports to the building principal.

CHARACTERISTICS:

+ Passionate about caring for and helping children;

+ Effective verbal, written, and electronic communicator;

+ Capable of integrating technology resources into curriculum and instruction;

+ Able to maximize student effort and success both academically and socially;

+ Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students and colleagues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Able to organize and prioritize daily schedule and duties.

+ Manage the classroom in a positive manner and keep students engaged, on task, and collaborative;

+ Perform any other duties as assigned by a Supervisor / Administration.
