    Position Summary:

    Performs installation of systems and equipment at customer sites, and provides ongoing preventive maintenance, repair and calibration services after installation.

     

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

     

    1.

     

    Assesses malfunctions of computer hardware and/or peripheral devices for the purpose of determining appropriate actions to maintain computer operations.

     

    2.

     

    Repairs computers, peripherals, network equipment and software, requiring specialized computer and electronics repair skills for the purpose of maintaining computer and network equipment in a safe and functional operating condition.

     

    3.

     

    Procures computer parts, supplies and materials for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items commonly required to repair computer hardware.

     

    4.

     

    May be responsible for preparing a variety of written materials for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    * High school diploma

    * 3 years of directly related experience

    _Preferred:_

    * Associate’s degree in a directly related field
