    Position Summary:

    Develop, implement and facilitate the processes related to the Focused Professional Practice Evaluation and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation programs.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    1. Develop, implement, and facilitate the processes related to the Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) programs in accordance with McLaren Macomb Medical Staff Policies and Procedures.

    2. Initiate and coordinate the information gathering process for both focused and ongoing professional practice evaluation (FPPE/OPPE) for the medical staff including the allied health professionals.

    3. Coordinate the clinical peer review process, including agenda management and production of data and related information for presentation.

    4. Assess and report on a variety of clinical data pertaining to FPPE/OPPE and the delineation of clinical privileges.

    5. Gather and organize internal and external data.

    6. Analyze data to be presented in compliance with McLaren Macomb policy.

    7. Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory agencies.

    8. Work closely with the chair of the credentials committee and director of Medical Staff Affairs to implement OPPE/FPPE.

    9. Work closely with the service line leaders regarding the evaluation of the data submitted.

    10. Assist with medical staff issues.

    11. Adhere to all McLaren Macomb policies and procedures

    12. Performs other related job duties as requested.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + _Associates Degree in related field_

    + _Three years experience in healthcare medical staff office with medical staff credentialing_

    _Preferred:_

    + _Experience in an academic healthcare environment_
