    As a **Technical Lead Mechanic** at our manufacturing/bottling facility, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and improving equipment used in bottling and packaging operations.

     

    **Factory Location:** Kingfield, ME

    **Starting Rate:** $36.80 / hour

    **Schedule:** 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Day Shift, Full-Time, Rotational Schedule

    Key Responsibilities

    Restore machines to operational condition during runtime failures in a team setting

     

    Perform reactive maintenance to recover production lines from equipment failures

     

    Work onelectric motors, retrofits, and fabrications

     

    Identify and implement creative equipment improvements

     

    Lead and execute preventative maintenance (PM) tasks to minimize equipment downtime

     

    Participate in equipment upgrades and installations

     

    Collaborate with operators and team members to meet production schedules

     

    Communicate effectively with vendors and team members

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience

    + Minimum two years hands on experience in manufacturing preventive maintenance systems

    + Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

    + Strong knowledge of industrial electricity, mechanical power transmission and fluid piping systems

    + Strong electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motors

    + Strong understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

    + Proficient with mechanical drawings and OEM technical prints for parts identification

    + Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics and water processing is preferred

    + Preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repair, troubleshooting using a data driven systematic approach, rebuilding equipment, lifting, rigging, and lubrication.

    + Ability to do physical inspections, (i.e. climbing, reaching, extending)

    + Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team members

    + Experience in a high speed manufacturing environment and water processing preferred
